1. -UC Davis is the last UC campus that has wrestling / no UC to which to transfer like other sports-This may not be a UC Davis problem but a UC problem.  10% of the taxes go to the UC system.
   

1. -Essentially cutting the program here you are telling the UC athletes that you can either get a UC degree or wrestle   but you can't have both.
   

-27,500 wrestlers in the state with high minority participation-need a place in the state to get a UC degree and compete in wrestling.

-All other sports are represented at the UC system to where you could transfer but not wrestling.

THIS IS DISCRIMINATION!

    -  Majority of Wrestlers come from non-white middle to low income families

    -  For some wrestling is the only way for these athletes to get a UC education.

    -  UC Davis adds a Field Hockey team - Cuts a Wrestling Team.
